The Mankato office staff of JEANE THORNE INC. will be presenting two seminars for the Minnesota Valley Action Council Youth Employment and Training Program. This program is designed to assist youth ages 16-21 in creating and achieving education and work goals as well as teaching them how to be successful in the work world.

The first seminar will focus on resume writing. They will be sharing information key to creating an effective resume, including how to organize the information, formatting, what to include and what to leave out.

The seminar about the interview process will focus on every aspect of an interview. This will be an interactive seminar allowing each participant to answer 2-3 questions often asked during an interview. Observing an interview gives a much different perspective to an inexperienced job seeker. Examples of appropriate dress and etiquette will be addressed.

We are looking forward to mentoring these young people and giving them the tools for success in the workplace.
