The 2006 golf event for St. Joseph's Home for Children was held on Monday, September 11 and it was a smashing success raising over $65,000 for the children of St. Joseph's Home for Children.  For the 12th year, Jeane Thorne Inc. spearheaded the event in order to raise funds to benefit programs that promote a safe, nurturing environment for the children and youth served by St.  Joseph’s Home for Children.  This brings the total raised to over $530,000 since year one.

This event is designed to provide a fun time for both golfers and non-golfers. Many non-golfers joined in with golfers later in the day for the social hour, silent auction and awards dinner.  The silent auction was a hit, including items such as a Sony flat screen television, first class airline tickets, RCI vacation packages, major theater production tickets, hotel stay packages, autographed sports memorabilia and much, much more! It keeps getting better every year!
