The 11th Annual Jeane Thorne Inc. Golf Invitational
Benefiting St. Joseph's Home For Children

THE 11th ANNUAL EVENT raised $65,000;  and bringing the total for 11 years to over $465,000!!  Please help us make this year even better!

Planning is well under way for the 13th annual Jeane Thorne Inc. golf invitational benefiting St. Joseph’s Home for Children.  Jeane Thorne Inc. and friends will head out to Southview Country Club again this year on the Monday after Labor Day:  September 10, 2007.

This event brings together golfers from around the Twin Cities Metropolitan area and southern Minnesota to participate in an afternoon’s round of golf, reception & silent auction, the evening’s banquet dinner, program, & awards presentation.  A shotgun start is at 12:30 (come early for lunch!), and the evenings festivities promise every year to wrap up by 7:30.

Sponsorships; golfer’s fees; proceeds from the silent auction; and individual donations are given directly to St. Joseph’s Home for Children.  Each year, since 1994, Jeane Thorne Inc. has picked up the tab for the event as its part in raising funds and community awareness for the children of St. Joseph’s.

Jeane Thorne Inc. CEO Mary Marso-Schmitz states, We chose an organization to support that would benefit not only from the dollars raised each year, but one that would benefit from the community awareness building of the needs of these at-risk children.  As a staffing and human resource management firm, I believe that investing in the success of our children just makes sense: our community’s children are our future workforce.  In addition, Minnesota is a very philanthropic state and the generosity of business deserves recognition - it speaks to the strength of good corporate citizenship that thrives here.”
