Andrew's history as a staff member of Jeane Thorne Inc. began in the 1980s providing part-time administrative support as a high school student. While attending college, Andrew also worked part-time as an Account Coordinator and Recruiter for Jeane Thorne. After graduating from the University of St. Thomas with a degree in Financial Management, Andrew began his fulltime career with Jeane Thorne, with the ultimate goal to one day buy the firm. He began in a sales role for the Fargo, North Dakota branch office (which was later sold in 2002). He soon moved into sales in the Minneapolis branch and quickly grew the company's smallest office into a major success. He was named the top sales person for Jeane Thorne in 1998 with over one million dollars in newly acquired revenue for his territory. In 1999, Andrew was promoted to Branch Manager in Minneapolis and continued to succeed in building a stronger staff team and presence in the downtown Minneapolis market.


In 2000, Andrew began serving as Executive Vice President managing all of the Twin Cities offices as well as the Mankato, MN office. During his tenure in this position, Andrew focused on keeping Jeane Thorne competitive in the Minnesota market during the recession while the number of temporary staffing services in the Twin Cities shrunk by over 33%.


In February of 2003, Andrew was promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of Jeane Thorne. Under his forward-thinking leadership, the company streamlined its operations while maintaining an innovative edge in its services to clients and employees. He led the efforts in the development of a state-of-the-art website which offers Client Services Online; online Job Search; and online recruitment capabilities. Due to his initiatives, online computer training access for Jeane Thorne Inc employees has been a reality and available to all employees since 2002.


In addition, he spearheaded Jeane Thorne's online testing process, and the integration of the online application process with the company's database. Through Andrew's operational leadership, Jeane Thorne Inc. continues to improve its efficiency and effectiveness, raising the bar for services it offers clients and employees. Andrew continues to focus his team to solidify Jeane Thorne Inc.'s strong brand in the Minnesota marketplace by providing the Absolute Best Talent in Minnesota.


Andrew is an active member of the Entrepreneurs' Organization, and the Minneapolis and St. Paul Chambers. He is a past board member of the Staffing Association of Minnesota, a 2003 recipient of the Business Journal's 40 Under Forty, a 2004 graduate of the St. Paul Chamber's Leadership St. Paul program, a graduate of the Staffing Industry's Management Institute, and a Competent Toastmaster. Andrew resides in St. Paul with his wife Kari and three children, Isabella, Jonah, and Amelie.
